EMI’s DRM-free catalog may arrive this week on iTunes

Apple and EMI have been teasing music-lovers and DRM-haters alike ever since the announcement that the EMI catalog would be available without DRM on the iTunes Store. Although the announcement was made in early April, the DRM-free tracks still weren’t available for download until “May.” With only a few days left until the end of the month, a lot of people (myself included) are wondering if they can deliver on time.

Well, if you’ve been waiting for the DRM-free tracks, you’re in luck, because apparently Apple can and will deliver them by the end of May, according to MacBidouille’s sources. via Ars Technica
